I first spoke with Jean about a month after arriving here, when I called Blitz a Pokeball with a face. He didn't like that much.

It's definitely not the first thing I imagined he'd have after living with him for a couple years. I thought he'd have... I don't know, maybe a dog or something? Like mine.

This world works mysteriously as any, I suppose. I got lucky with my little Pinsy.

[Appropriate starters aside, this fox is swayed easily enough by the prospect of treats, though she acts a bit less enthusiastic than she feels. She stands to stretch before jumping down and peering expectantly at Bertolt. Yes, she likes treats, now where are they??]

_{[Bracing himself against Marcel's side, Bertolt pulls his backpack off and digs around in it as he carefully kneels down to her level, and finally offers out a couple little puffy treats, fresh from the local bakery.]}

Gods, she's much cuter up close like this. Aren't you?

[After giving them a tentative sniff, Vulpix accepts a treat, and the others immediately afterward. It isn't a problem; they're all for her, right? She certainly seems to think so as she lays down at Bertolt's feet and starts to nibble them down one at a time.

Very cute, indeed, and look, she isn't even trying. Anders has to cover his mouth to keep from laughing at her display.]
