[ Because it's. True. Past that she really doesn't know. ]
Cats were tolerable in the city. I wouldn't call that much of a preference, considering the only animals we worked with were horses, and cats were incidental.
[Annie, no. Do you realize what sort of ammunition this gives him?]
I'll
I'll keep my eyes open for any fire cats. There's a couple I can think of off the top of my head - Litleo, which are... small lions? I haven't seen one in person yet but they have one of their evolved forms roar before certain movies, and they've got a movie called The Pyroar King that has a bunch of them. There's also Litten, but they don't really stay cat-cats.
Jean has one and it evolved into a big wrestler that looks like a cat.
[ Cute things actually in her life: does Lute now count? She has a Hoothoot too but she's not sure what she thinks about the bird she named Arlert. IT'S NOT AMMUNITION IT'S... ammunition..............
She thinks about the Litten, then remembers what she was being shown over this earlier that day. ]
I've seen those in a photograph. The evolved Litten. The person showing me brawls with them for fun, apparently.
[You've doomed yourself, Annie. This gives him an excuse to send cute pictures of Pokemon at all hours of the day.
There are going to be so many, Annie.]
You didn't happen to get their name, did you?
And yeah, movies! They're| Moving pictures, basically. With sound and everything, just like that thing I sent of the truck getting eaten only much longer and actually having a story to it. They even make movies based off of books and sometimes they're not the best, but they're fun.
[ Sheer volume will annoy her Bertolt, even if the content will be pleasing. She'll remember for when she sees you. ]
Not at the time. Sound like someone you know?
Huh.
[ She's got nothing else, just "huh." It sounds... like a lot? Someone less messed up might say fun, but Annie generally ends up being pulled into fun instead of finding it on her own.
Unless melting bodies in acid counts as fun. That was off-the-clock work related, but that series of events did introduce her to donuts and a daughter strong enough to get away from the father she loved who was ruining them both, so. Worth something. ]
[It'd be worth it. So worth it, even if he had to go to the Pokecenter to make sure he was okay.]
I can only think of one person that does that sort of thing with his Pokemon. He's a good guy.
There's one you might like called The Aristocattys. I've only seen bits and pieces of it so far, but it's full of cats. You might even see one you like in that.
[Sometimes he wonders about the sort of work that existed inside the interior, though it may be a good thing he decided to follow Reiner into the Survey Corps. He may have gone grey a few years too soon if he went to the MP.]
[ The MP were great, just as corrupt as you'd expect and as likely to shirk duty if it didn't involve bribes or other nice luxuries. At least he'd be able to get hair dye for his grey hair. ]
I'm already regretting telling you I don't hate cats.

[PLUS LOOK AT IT THIS WAY ANNIE... You've got ammunition against him in the form of Jean, now he's got ammunition in the form of cats.
It's a win-win.]

... Actually it works out in her favour so nevermind, carry on, son, carry on. ]
I absolutely do.
